Look we made another video! It’s really short! You can watch it with or without words; Chris likes it with and Roshan prefers without. What do you think?

Bundled Ones is Chris and Roshan, old friends making new music.

With no plan in sight we found ourselves regularly playing together and exchanging files that felt close to...music.

We’re sharing them in reasonable chunks: five tracks per bundle.

Written, performed & recorded by Chris and Ro; mixed by Pete Remine at Dubtrain studio.

Available on most flavors of streaming services (we prefer Bandcamp, but Spotify, Apple Music etc. have em too).

Always here, always free.

We’ll post bundles here for FREE, because we love you.

We is Bundled Ones.

Chris and Roshan have been friends for years and have been playing music sporadically for most of them. In November 2019, Ro asked Chris to borrow his lovely Avalon Pre amp. Chris (as always) came through and showed up with a van-load of goodies.

What else to do except to start playing together? So we did, and we started swapping files and before we knew it we were building up a backlog of these song-esque creations.

Our tracks come together in a number of ways: Chris sends over instrumental tracks or Ro comes up with an idea for words. Back and forth, back and forth, via text, email, Dropbox (and now) Zoom meetings… slowly something takes form.

Why Bundles? Why now?

Due in part to the fact that we’re makin stuff with no goal in mind, the songs didn’t seem to coalesce into a traditional, long-form album. We’re both old and still revere the album format as a considered collection of songs… this did not feel like that.

Instead we decided to bundle em in packs of five, like marking days off on a cell wall. This gave us the chance to focus on reasonable chunks of our ever-growing list of songs while also giving us a name for the dang thing.

Did you stay or did you run?

Please check out the video for our song F all the Sea. Clips were recorded in early March 2020 as Seattle ground to a halt. We set a smartphone on the car’s window ledge and let roll… sorry it’s so shaky! Also keep an eye out for one of the last recorded crossings of the West Seattle bridge!

We hope you like weird.

Check out our first bundle of five songs for FREE! Go ahead, it will be our secret.
